Rough Cut

Louisa told us there are some elements of our rough copy that need to be tweaked, however she was overall pleased with everything we had done.

We still need to finish editing, and then add other things, such as the title sequence and music.

  1. Wow, your rough cut looks really good however, there was one scene where the character was brushing his teeth and it seemed extremely long even though it was a couple of seconds, I think you could add something like a title or jump to a different scene briefly to not make the scene look too long. I would also add an instrumental in the background to create a scary atmosphere especially when the audience see the dead bodies. The slow motion when he finishes brushing his teeth is also quite irrelevant, as there are no more scenes where there is slow motion. Experimenting with the speed should be more frequent if you want to do that. One scene that I really loved was when you had match cuts when the character was smoking and peeking through the blinds, it was really effective and another scene where he walks away from the bathroom and the title disappears with him. Overall it was GREAT! and i really wasnt expecting all those dead bodies in the livingroom.
